Does any of this sound familiar?

  • Your CPA mainly reaches out when documents or signatures are needed for the next tax return.

  • Important questions take days—sometimes longer—to answer.

  • Tax filing gets done. Proactive tax planning rarely happens.

  • You research strategies your advisor should be bringing to your attention.

  • At year-end, you are left wondering whether opportunities were identified too late.

An active tax advisor—not a passive tax filer. One point of contact who thinks ahead, stays accessible, and shapes your strategy before filing.Let's talk.

Every decision matters when you start in the United States.

  • Information, forms, and conflicting recommendations come from every direction.

  • U.S. legal and tax rules are unfamiliar—and no one clearly explains what must happen when.

  • You want to avoid expensive surprises, but cannot yet see every risk.

  • Unlicensed advisors and well-meaning tips can sound convincing until the consequences surface.

  • Timing matters: important tax decisions are often made before the move to the United States.

The greatest risk is not receiving the wrong answer. It is not knowing which question you need to ask.Tax strategy is an owner-level responsibility.Let's talk.

Expats & IRS Resolution

For international tax situations and time-sensitive IRS matters

International Tax

Expats

An ordinary tax return rarely reflects an international life.

  • Your life, income, or assets span more than one country.

  • A U.S. preparer may see only the American side while a German advisor sees only the German side.

  • International reporting can be missed even when no additional tax is due.

  • Decisions about income, investments, and protection affect one another.

International tax situations require an advisor who connects both sides. Not isolated forms, but the full cross-border picture.Let's talk.

Urgent Tax Matters

IRS Resolution

The IRS has written. The deadline is running. You need to understand what happens next.

  • The notice is difficult to assess, and the wrong response can make the matter worse.

  • Your current tax preparer may be unable or unwilling to represent you before the IRS.

  • Further notices, penalties, liens, or levies need to be prevented where possible.

  • You need clear ownership and professional representation—not another general explanation.

When the IRS writes, staying calm matters—but standing still can be dangerous. We assess the matter and—once engaged—manage communication and develop a clear path toward resolution.Let's talk.

Built from the client's perspective.

OAK LEAF BOUTIQUE was built for German-speaking business owners and expats whose businesses, lives, and U.S. tax obligations do not fit a standard template.

Sebastian Domke combines more than 20 years of finance and risk-management experience with a specialization in U.S. taxation. As an Enrolled Agent, he is federally authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS.

Having relocated from Germany to Florida with his family in 2023, he understands both the technical requirements and the real-world decisions behind a U.S. move.

The result is an advisory model that connects tax, business, and personal decisions into one clear, forward-looking strategy.
